Custom Clothing Creators (also called Custom Clothing Makers) are special items of legendary rarity that allows whoever uses it to wish for a new clothing item to made. It is the clothing counterpart to the Custom Pet Creator. If approved, said clothing item will be created and put into the game by an official site artist. Custom creators can be obtained from any type of chance machine at a very low chance. Custom clothing items can be searched for on Tradesmarket using the "Custom" Item Type listing.

The current list of Custom clothing items is shown on the Custom Clothing Archive page as well as the front page of Dappervolk (the most recent 4). Clothing items will appear on these pages the moment they're revealed.

Obtaining

When spinning any given Chance Machine, there is an extremely low chance (0.0001%) of obtaining a Custom Clothing Creator. The chance is universal across all chance machines with a hard limit of one every 10 days. After obtaining Custom Creator, user has to wait 6 months before getting another one. It can also be raffled during official Dappervolk giveaways.

The current limit is shown on the front page as well as the custom pet and clothing archive pages. The limit resets at rollover, DVT (Midnight, PST).

Custom Queue

The custom queue launched May 7th, 2021 and currently releases 6 custom creations each month, 4 Custom Clothing and 2 Mythical Pets. Due to this, clothing items tend to be twice as fast to get through queue. In the event that there are no clothing creators in queue for a certain month, extra pets will be created instead. Though this is standard most months, other months can deviate from this. A single user can only have one request in queue at a time. The queue currently goes in chronological order, with the two lowest pet concepts and two lowest clothing requests getting assigned each month. This means pet concepts 1 and 2 may get assigned and then clothing concepts 6 and 13 get assigned (because those are the two lowest clothing concepts in queue).

Submission

To submit a custom request or view, a user can navigate to the "customs" link at the footer of all Dappervolk pages. When submitting a custom creator, a user must adhere to the custom request guidelines.

• A custom text prompt should be concise and convey one single clear idea of what you'd like for your item/pet. The character limit for text prompts is 500.
• Submitting an additional inspiration image for your request is purely optional. Text on your image submission should be minimal and not used as a way to circumvent the character limit for the prompt.
• You're able to edit/delete your request until an artist claims it, after which the request will be locked in.
• Each user is able to submit one custom pet/item request into the queue at a time.
• All site rules (Terms of Service, Rules of Conduct) apply to custom items and pets. Once made, they become part of Dappervolk.com and are subject to all rules including offsite trading rules.

There is also a thread with an FAQ about any specific custom questions. An important highlight of this thread is the fact that a user can possibly be unhappy with their custom result and they cannot do anything about it. Before being assigned, it is recommended to take a close look at the prompt to make sure it is clear.

Distribution

To create duplicate copies of a Custom Clothing, a user can buy custom clothing mirrors from Agnes' Perpetual Shop and use the mirror to give copies to themself or other users.

Unlike normal clothing items, Custom Clothing items have their own section of the Inventory, through the custom items tab.

Beta

During the open beta testing phase of Dappervolk, users were encouraged to test the gacha system. The users who rolled the most Custom Clothing Creators and Custom Pet Creators were given a single custom clothing creator and a single custom pet creator respectively to use when the queue feature released.
