Daily Quests: The Red Tower

Daily Quests, also called Daily Errands, are randomized tasks given by NPCs that can be completed up to three times a day per NPC. There are generally three ways to complete daily errands:

Successful completion: Carry out the task as requested. Will yield positive affection with the NPC, potatoes, and pet food that corresponds to their personality.
Negative completion: Do something which the NPC dislikes, such as bringing the wrong item or saying the wrong thing. Will yield negative affection with the NPC and a small potato reward (or no potatoes at all).
Cancellation: Cancelling the quest yields no positive or negative rewards but will still count towards the daily quest limit.

Items given away during daily errands will be lost. This doesn't apply to pets.

In The Red Tower, both successful and negative completion will award the player with the rare currency Crimson Energy. This bonus currency can be used at Pinot's Apothecary and the Witches' War event shop.

Pinot: What timing! I was just thinking about my number two rival. Pinot: Greetings, world-hopper! My tower's shaping up nice, no? I tried to tell Barclay it was superior to his piddly little shack, but he just pretended not to hear. Pinot's brow is furrowed in concentration as he casts a spell on a small rock in front of him. The rock transforms into an egg, then a teacup, and then gets stuck somewhere in between the two. Do you need help with anything?
Bring Pinot Flowers
Pinot: World-hopper, I was wondering if you'd be good enough to bring me some of Barclay's flowers. I need them for something but I can't just... ask him. He's my nemesis. Bring Pinot 1 of Barclay's flowers. a) Here are some of Barclay's flowers! Pinot: Oh, look at their little petals! I can tell Barclay made these, they're so perfect... Uh, I mean, he's a very talented witch, but not as talented as me! 1,500 , +7 , 10 Crimson Energy b) Just take these plants from Glume instead. Pinot: Oh... But I needed Barclay's flowers. See, he's got this special thing - I mean, the FLOWERS have got this special thing - oh, forget it! -7 , 5 Crimson Energy c) Sure, I'll Be right back. / Be right back again. Pinot: Well? Did you get them? I'm only asking because those flowers are so important for... well it's best to know your rivals! Yes. Bring Pinot a Red Item
Pinot: Remember this disguise, world-hopper? What say we have another showdown? ...Kidding! I just like to put this on sometimes. Anyway, I could really use your help gathering materials for some of my spells. They'd have to be red to work with my magic. Bring Pinot a red item for his magic. a) I should have something red here! Pinot: This is great! Now I can add the finishing touches to my outfit... er, I mean, practice really important magic stuff! 1,500 , +7 , 10 Crimson Energy b) Here, I got you this blue thing heh. Pinot: I thought I told you it had to be red - oh, wait. I see what's going on. Complete Item Alchemy Twice
Pinot snaps his fingers and suddenly transforms into a crow. He flaps to the top of your head, and you can feel his tiny crow feet stamping around on your cranium. Pinot: I've improved my crow transformation, world-hopper. See? I can speak when I'm in it now! Ca-CAW! ...Er, well, I can most of the time. I still need to work out a few kinks. Would you mind helping me with some experiments? CAW CAW! Practice item alchemy two times to help Pinot with his transformations. a) I've alchemized some items! (Alchemized 2/2 Times) Pinot: Amazing work! I definitely see how I can refine my spells now. You know, if you keep this up, you might be as good as me someday. 1,500 , +7 , 10 Crimson Energy b) I actually played with my pet instead. (Interacted 2/2 Times) Crow Pinot's eyes glow red as he lets out a string of incoherent caws and flaps away. -7 , 5 Crimson Energy c) Sure, I'll be right back. / Be right back again. Crow Pinot is pecking at a shiny coin on the ground. Upon hearing your footsteps, he turns and looks at you expectantly. Complete a Three's Forest Daily Errand
Pinot: I've been helping the denizens of 3's Forest as a way to make amends for the incident with the red mist. Would you be up for assisting me on my rounds? We can cover more ground that way. Complete a daily errand for either Trout, Irin, or Magdalene. a) I've helped out in 3's Forest! (Quested 1/1 Times) Pinot: Wonderful! Now we've helped even more people. If this were a class, we'd get an A plus! 1,500 , +7 , 10 Crimson Energy b) I ended up stealing these turnips from an old farmer bear instead... (Played Game 1/1 Times) Who...? That's actually the opposite of helpful. Never mind, I'll sort it out myself. -7 , 5 Crimson Energy c) Sure, I'll be right back. Pinot's experimenting on one of Trout's turnips when you return. Using a pipette, he squeezes a drop of shimmering red liquid onto the vegetable, which then doubles it in size. Pinot looks at you with a satisfied grin.
