The "Manage Pen" and "Manage All Pens" tabs.

Habitats are where your pets will be stored. The terms "habitat" and "pen expansion" are often used interchangeably.

To add a new habitat to your Menagerie, you will have to use a pen expansion. Pen expansions are items that can be used to expand your Menagerie by one pen, each with a maximum limit of 20 pets. They can be renamed or deleted at any time by clicking "Manage Pen", or reorganized by clicking "Manage All Pens."

The default amount of pens a player can have is 60, but the maximum amount of habitats a user can have at one time is 120 (Maximum Pet Pen Expansions must be used in order to reach this amount).

Apart from aesthetic reasons, pen expansions are an important factor in Pet Alchemy as they are essential for correctly following pet recipes. They can be obtained through various means such as Chance Machines, Quests, Random Events, and the Trades Market.

Gifting

Crystal Caves Pen Expansion is the favorite birthday gift of the Black Moor Guardling.

Obsidian Night Pen Expansion is the favorite birthday gift of the Cosmic Carp.

❌ Habitats will not be requested by pets as part of their daily affection gift or quest.
