Maximum Pet Pen Expansion is a rare special item used in order to expand a player's maximum Menagerie pet pens by one. Up to 60 extra pens per player (for a total of 120) can be added through this method. It also comes as a bundle, with the Maximum Pet Pen Bundle containing three expansions.
Note: Although the item's description indicates that it only allows expansion of up to 30 pens, this is incorrect: the pen expansion limit was increased to 60 in December of 2023.[1]
Description
Maximum Pet Pen Expansion resembles a carved wooden hammer with a dusty pink ribbon around the handle and green leaves behind it. The Bundle variant resembles multiple hammer handles sticking out of a wooden burlap sack with a dusty pink ribbon around the open top.
Obtaining
Maximum Pet Pen Expansions can be purchased from Agnes' Perpetual Shop for 500 
. They can also be claimed as a bonus prize in the shop.
Maximum Pet Pen Bundles can be purchased from Agnes' Perpetual Shop for 1,250 .
Gifting
Maximum Pet Pen Expansion has not been identified as any pet's favorite birthday gift.
❌ Maximum Pet Pen Expansion will not be requested by pets as part of their daily affection gift or quest.
Item Alchemy
Maximum Pet Pen Expansion is not currently used in any Item Alchemy recipes.
