NPCs

NPCs are characters in Dappervolk that can be interacted with for variety of services, such as daily quests, side quests, main quest progression, affection milestones, and chance machines.

The list of all NPCs that a player has seen and can interact with can be found by going to the "World > NPC Diary" menu. There, the player can view all the NPCs with which they have interacted and some additional information regarding the NPC's age, location, and personality. Mousing over the heart symbols allows the player to see their affection level with each character.

NPC Stats

Some NPCs have more than two virtues / stats (such as Buli, who is both Charming and Comprehensive) while others have only one main stat (such as Nigel, who is only Honourable).

Peddler's Port NPCs

Pai		Age: Adult Pronouns: They/Them Species: Antlered How We Met: Found them at Peddler's Port, selling fantastical things from far away lands. Impressions: Seems to be a well traveled merchant, doesn't have time to spend getting to know locals.

Impressions: A cheerful and relaxed animal world-hopper, making a living by peddling animal specific wares. This NPC will only be encountered by players of the Animal class.

Impressions: A calm and organized human world-hopper, making a living by peddling human specific wares. This NPC will only be encountered by players of the Human class.

Seasonal NPCs are most often encountered during event-specific towns, although they may appear in descriptive text during other events as well (such as First Mate appearing during the The Pearl Gala.

Fefin		Age: Small Pronouns: He/Him Species: Monkey How We Met: During the carnival festivities with some discombobulation. Impressions: Speaks in third person, very odd and little. This NPC will only be encountered during The Winter Carnival.
Sysel		Age: Unknown Pronouns: They/Them Species: Mysterious How We Met: In a rather lovely night time orchard, surrounded by the wintry cold and gem-like fruit. They were preoccupied. Impressions: A grumpy enigma who dislikes daylight, polite once you get to know them. This NPC will only be encountered during The Winter Carnival.
Pellumi		Age: Young Adult Pronouns: He/Him Species: Elf How We Met: In some ancient desert ruins, it was quite a kerfuffle. Impressions: A tricksy sort with seemingly limited knowledge of the outside world. This NPC will only be encountered during Pellumi's Winter Festivities.
